Everything You Need to Know
SCHELLER stands for premium guitar tuning machines crafted in a true manufactory. Rather than mass production, we create durable tuning machines with uncompromising quality – and, if required, tailored to your individual specifications.
Orders
We supply both business customers, such as luthiers and specialist dealers, and private customers.
Business Customers
We are pleased to provide our current price list to business customers. Simply send us proof of your business status, such as your VAT identification number or company letterhead.
All prices are quoted in euros and are exclusive of statutory VAT.
For deliveries within the European Union (outside Germany), invoices are issued without German VAT upon receipt of a valid VAT identification number.
Private Customers
We are happy to prepare a personalized quotation for private customers. Simply contact us by phone or email – we will be pleased to advise you personally.
For deliveries within the European Union (outside Germany), the applicable gross price including statutory VAT will be charged.
Ordering Process
Orders can be placed directly with SCHELLER or through your luthier or specialist dealer.
Orders may be cancelled at any time before production begins. Once production has started, all costs incurred up to that point – with a minimum charge of 50% of the agreed purchase price – will apply.
Payment Methods
Please let us know your preferred payment method when placing your order.
We accept:
- Bank Transfer (any bank charges are the responsibility of the buyer)
- PayPal (plus a 3% processing fee)
- Other payment methods by prior arrangement
Deposit
No deposit is required for standard tuning machines.
For custom-made tuning machines, a deposit of 50% of the purchase price is required. This deposit is non-refundable once production has commenced.. Diese wird bei einer Stornierung nach Produktionsbeginn nicht zurückerstattet.
Delivery Time
Depending on the configuration, delivery times are generally 2–4 weeks for tuning machines without engravings 6–10 weeks for engraved tuning machines Delivery times are calculated from receipt of the order.
Alternative delivery schedules may be arranged by prior agreement.
Order Fulfilment
Once your order has been received, you will receive an order confirmation including the estimated delivery time.
Shortly before dispatch, we will contact you again to confirm the final details, including payment and shipping arrangements.
Customers outside Germany will receive a pro forma invoice prior to shipment.
Shipping
Orders are shipped fully insured via UPS as standard.
Alternative shipping methods are available upon request.
Warranty
The statutory warranty provisions shall apply.
