Engineering Meets Guitar

Welcome!

With the new development of his eponymous guitar tuners in 2008 the mechanical engineer Klaus Scheller has revolutionized the tuning of guitars.
As an experienced technician with a formerly own company for gear wheels, precision mechanics and complete gear units as well as a guitar player he found it challenging to use his experience for the development of a mechanism that allows easy and precise tuning of the instruments.
In cooperation with renowned guitar builders like Stefan Zander (Kiel) and Matthias Dammann (Neuhaus-Passau), he designed concert guitar tuners which combine traditional elegance with precise function and modern technology. Starting point and inspiration for the development of his tuning machines were the old Baker and Landstorfer tuners, which are ornamental beauties on any guitar.

Due to the great success the production of the tuners was placed in the hands of the Margarete Goetz GmbH in 2014. Today, this company manufactures over 200 product variations and delivers to more than 500 partly well-known customers worldwide in approx. 60 countries.
Klaus Scheller still advises us with his expertise.
